Haha yeah not the best of places to stay. It was OK but nothing special. I hear its expensive now too. One of my friends moved over there, but is coming back now after 6 months. I think I loved Darwin the best of all. So tropical, so warm, so different, and so exciting - snakes, crocs, birds, fish... amazing place. Hey - you wanna get out of Perth - come over to Liverpool - it is so different!! hehe

Yeah pretty expensive now. The prices of everything seem to go up every few months -_- but ehh whatever. I love WA, but the city has many many flaws. I just prefer to be on the road or in the bush or forest or country Out where it's beautiful and where you can see all* the stars at night. I watched a travel documentary on Liverpool a few nights back. The place seems to have charm. I've added to my list of places to visit!
Funny - I'm the same. I like to walk around and explore - I like the old parts of cities and the day to day life of people. Hey cool - you like Liverpool then! I think you would love it if you came for a visit. So much to see and do and so much history. Let me know if you do come over and I'll help you with accomodation and visits and things.

Yeah exploring is great. I do like cities too, but I've seen enough of here. Old architecture and historical buildings can be very fascinating... and a lot of the time, more beautiful than the new buildings. Liverpool certainly looks exciting. Thank you very much. If I do end up there in some years (which I hopefully/certainly will) I'll be sure to ask your advice on things!
Cool! Yeah it would be nice to meet you and take you around. these is an Australian bar in Liverpool funnily enough! Beer isn't as good as aussie beer though! haha I used to drink Coopers Ale in the small bottles. really nice!
Well, I like suburbs too - but you are right - out i the outback is amazing. We spent 3 months in that campervan going from Darwin to Perth via Adelaide. Had some amazing adventures - like a near crash when a hand brake slipped, meeting a croc head on in the Katherine gorge... things like that!! Eek!

Thats cool, I have only ever gone on holiday one, went from Adelaide to the Sunshine coast. Went to the Australia zoo, there are lots of crocs there The cool thing about being here though (dont know if its the same for you) But if you get an approved enclosure and a licence you can keep crocs as pets. I want to do it, but have to wait till I move further out into the country
OMG - a croc as a pet!! I suppose it would be cool until they get more than a foot long!! haha. Yeah would be a bit tricky keeping a croc in an apartment or something! Well - hope you manage to get another holiday soon. thanks for the chat -
Wow... a true example of the outback! I have never been anywhere even remotely like this though. I'm purely a coastal city girl I'm sure I'll get around to exploring my own country one day though! This is a great shot, you've captured it just perfectly
Haha well i can't blame you for that! The coast in Aussie is great. I loved it up in Cairns. I was there for 3 months between jobs. didn't do a thing apart from lying by the pool, on the beach and going out to the islands. Fantastic!
I took this photo early one morning as dawn was breaking. It was cold - but I knew it was going to be roasting soon. Our next stop was the Henbury Meteorites!
Glad you like it anyway. I'll try and find another couple of good photos to put up. thanks for the comment.
Aww that's a shame. They are South of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territories. Was a great trip. not sure what they are like now - I was there in 1989 - 23 years ago! HEre's a link to tell you about them: [link]
Yeah - 23 years old photos!! OMG! I can't believe how much time has passed since I've been there!! No digital cameras, no mobile phones, no credit cards! haha What a life! HEre's a link to see what they are about: [link]
