Panda Joe was mightily miffed after the humiliating end to the panda pie race. He couldn't believe how he could have ended up going over that waterfall and ending up being airlifted to safety by the panda copter. He was the laughing stock of panda town. 'No problem' he thought to himself, 'I'll enter the 'pie in the sky' race instead'. Little did he know that he was about to fall foul of the panda fete a second time! The aim of the game was to climb the imitation Empire state Building in 'King Kong' fashion, grab the slice of pie and shimmy down again with it between his teeth. Panda Joe was a bit of a fatty panda though and the building couldn't take it. Just when he almost had the pie in his grasp the structure broke half way up, sending clouds of smoke , and a few flames, shooting outwards. Panda Joe couldn't believe it. In a final attempt to grab the pie he let go of the building, reached out and inadvertantly slipped all the way to the bottom of the building, skinning his kness in the process, and landing with a mighty clump on the ground. All he heard as he lay there were the laughs of the watching crowd..... Awwwwww poor lil Panda Joe!

Thanks very much for the comment - it took a little whole to do it but the story just came straight out of my head. I wished it had won the prize, but hey ho - there was a lot of competition.
