Goodbye Steve Jobs by BigA-nt Goodbye Steve Jobs by BigA-nt
This is a photo of my very first computer - an Apple 2E. Invented by Steve Jobs who, as you know, has recently passed away. Rest in Peace - the world has lost an incredibly creative and inventive man.

Really powerful, trying to figure out why.... I think its the retrospect idea, putting everything that's happened since in perspective.

so sad... Steve was a great man. :(
I'm a child of the end of the 20th century, so I haven't seen them old macs. Showed it to my mom, and she said it was around when she was a bit younger than me. I can tell how the computers has changed since my parents were kids. lol...
But R.I.P steve... <3 beautiful picture btw.

thanks very much. Yeah its amazing how things have changed - my first computer had no hard drive, about 100K of video memory, 20K of RAM and a floppy disk which was about 5 inches square! And floppy! And held about 144Kb! haha times have changed.

haha yeah me too with my Apple 2e. I thought it was fab with its 15K of memory (or whatever it was) and 5.25 inch floppy (really floppy!). And WWW hadn't even been invented. So much better than a typewriter. Ah, those were the days. :sadangel:
