Another Life....
Humans were doing well, by the 23rd Century technology had advanced so far that humans felt they were invincible. Everything had changed - even trains had increased in size by 20 fold, allowing people to live on board and travel thousands of miles in total comfort. But they weren't invincible. Aliens invaded the Earth, and following many years of war, the Earth belonged to them. Systematically, the aliens started destroying the planet, taking from it all its valued minerals, water, plants, animals.... However, a scientist had discovered how to make a time portal and in the last days of earth's survival he took the risk and he and his family walked through the portal back to a time where the Earth was free... it was the only escape, and one by one other humans followed....
